Analyzing the Performance of Various NOMA Systems Based on User Count and Minimum Rate Demand

In wireless communication networks, non-orthogonal multiple access, or NOMA, is a multiple access technique used to boost spectrum efficiency and system capacity. It is a multiplexing procedure that consents several users to stake the similar frequency band simultaneously. According to the channel circumstances, users in NOMA are divided into stronger and weaker groups. The stronger users are given higher power, while the weaker users are given lower power. Within each NOMA cluster, a number of users employ successive interference cancellation (SIC) and superposition coding (SC) approaches. This results in better utilization of the available resources and higher data rates for the users. As a result, NOMA has become a viable multiple access method for next wireless networks. However, there are several issues (inter & intra user interference, channel estimation problem, user scheduling, power allocation issue) need to be addressed for performance estimation in NOMA. As a result, the effectiveness of NOMA has been assessed in this work by evaluating the effects of minimum rate demand ($R_{{min}}^{k}$) and user numbers on the likelihood of outages and power consumption. The performance measures have been estimated for Fully SC-SIC NOMA, FD-NOMA and FDMA with different multiplexed users and their minimum demand rate on each sub channel.
