A distributed fault self-healing method for active distribution networks considering interval power flow

In order to quickly and accurately identify faults, isolate fault areas, and automatically perform recovery operations, thereby minimizing the impact of faults on the operation of the distribution network, a distributed fault self-healing method for active distribution networks considering interval power flow is proposed. Analyze the structure of the active distribution network, and locate the distributed fault sections of the active distribution network based on the principle of current differential and the comparison of fault current amplitude. Consider the active distribution network and load capacity as interval variables, construct a distributed fault self-healing objective function for the active distribution network, and generate corresponding self-healing strategies with node voltage, branch interval flow, and active distribution network topology radiation as constraints. The experimental results show that the studied fault self-healing method has high fault localization accuracy, high self-healing success rate, and short self-healing time, with the highest self-healing success rate reaching 98.56%. Therefore, it indicates that the practical application performance of the method in this article is strong.
