Study on the Optimization of Capacity Configuration Strategy for Wind-photovoltaic-hydrogen Energy Storage Stations

Under the extensive expansion of wind and solar power units, the intermittent and fluctuating characteristics of wind and solar energy have caused serious wind and solar power abandonment. To solve this problem, the electrolysis water hydrogen production technology will be combined with a comprehensive energy system, and combined with energy storage and power generation equipment, to build a wind-photovoltaic-hydrogen storage comprehensive energy system. Firstly, establish models for each unit in the wind-photovoltaic-hydrogen storage stations; Secondly, considering the constraints of each unit and the operational characteristics of the system, establish a multi-objective capacity allocation strategy that comprehensively considers reliability, economy, and curtailment rate. On this basis, MATLAB and the commercial solver CPLEX were used to optimize the configuration of the model, and the impact of three sets of weight coefficients on capacity allocation was analyzed in two operating modes with and without hydrogen storage technology and with hydrogen storage technology. The research results can provide reference for optimizing the capacity configuration strategy of wind-photovoltaic-hydrogen storage integrated energy systems.
