Research on Energy Consumption in Data Centers

With the rapid development of data centers, energy consumption in data centers is also increasing day by day. The energy consumption of data centers has attracted high attention from the data center industry, the entire country, and energy related organizations and institutions around the world. This article elaborates on the necessity of energy conservation in data centers, the development trend of energy consumption, the influencing factors of data center energy consumption, and the classification of energy consumption. And suggestions were given for energy-saving measures in data centers. In addition, examples were provided for the air conditioning system in data centers, and the energy-saving potential of data centers was analyzed. Finally, policy recommendations were provided for energy conservation in data centers.
