Novel mmWave H-Slotted Microstrip Patch Antenna Array for 5G Communication

This study advances the microstrip patch antenna, targeting 5G communication enhancements. We progressed from traditional rectangular microstrip designs to propose an innovative H slotted microstrip antenna array. We have utilized CST software to design and assess each antenna variant for optimal gain, directivity, radiated power, and VSWR. Our findings highlight the superiority of the H slotted array in performance, offering significant improvements in bandwidth, signal quality, and compatibility with 5G devices, compared to conventional counterparts. This research underlines the potential of slotted microstrip antenna arrays in revolutionizing 5G communication networks.
