Precise and Stable Indoor Positioning with Signal Variations

Indoor positioning has several methods, but common problems arise due to signal variations, significantly reducing positioning accuracy. In this paper, we propose a more flexible and robust positioning method by further identifying the principles of signal strength using the indoor positioning method previously studied through statistical approaches. The average error distances were 1.42m and 0.83m, respectively, using the previously studied method and the newly proposed method. Through the results of the positioning experiment, it can be observed that the proposed method is more robust against variations in signal strength.
