Design of an Integrated System for Responding to Emergency Situations by Identifying Users' Lifelogs

The widespread use of digital technology and mobile devices has led to the creation of lifelogs, which record users' daily activities, locations, and health statuses. These lifelogs can be crucial for enhancing emergency response services. Recognizing this potential, the Korean government has prioritized improving emergency medical services through initiatives like the Emergency Medical Basic Plan. However, current emergency response systems often overlook lifelogs and rely on traditional emergency call systems, missing the opportunity for personalized responses. This study proposes an integrated system that leverages lifelog data to enhance emergency services by monitoring lifelog data in real-time, swiftly identifying emergencies, and providing personalized services tailored to users' needs. The paper analyzes the current state of emergency response services and the potential of lifelog data, identifying key challenges. The proposed system includes features such as lifelogs based emergency recognition and prediction, personalized service provision, user notification, and situation reporting. By integrating lifelog data, the study aims to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency medical services, enhancing user safety and convenience. This research highlights the importance of technological advancements in emergency response and advocates for continued innovation to develop more efficient and accurate systems in the future.
