Electric Line Fault Detection and Power Consumption Monitoring with Hypertext Preprocessor Application

India has had to deal with issues related to insufficient power generation, distribution, and supply over the years. Concern over the widespread occurrence of electricity theft in the nation is growing. This type of fraud can take many forms, including unauthorized connections, meter tampering, unpaid bills, and irregular billing. Financial statistics show that power theft accounts for the majority of electricity theft. Meter manipulation and magnetic locking are impossible with contemporary electronic meters. As a result, connecting straight from the distribution lines is currently the most popular method of power theft. All power companies deal with the issue of dishonest electricity consumers. In recent years, there has been a lot of activity in the research domain to find effective metrics for identifying fraudulent electricity usage. The goal of this research is to identify instances of unreported power usage and highlight strategies for preventing power theft. Modern communities depend on the efficient and dependable delivery of electricity, therefore utilities make significant investments in the upkeep and security of their transmission and distribution networks. Nonetheless, chronic problems with load management and power theft compromise the reliability of these networks and obstruct the just distribution of electricity. This study presents a comprehensive solution for power monitoring and power theft which is a major global threat for utility companies. There are significant financial losses associated with illegal actions including cutting electricity, tampering with power lines, and adjusting meters.
