Power Quality Improvement by using UPQC with Soft Computing Techniques

The most critical aspect of today's rapidly growing world electricity is. It is challenging to distribute the electric power without loss for all time and it is important to keep the quality of the power within the constraints. The UPQC versatile dual control methodology is more effective for the distribution of power to handle the power quality problems. The UPQC obtains to compensate together current and voltage problems of responsive load and to eliminate the harmonics of load current under distorted supply conditions. Within this project we concentrate on the various techniques available for improving the power efficiency. UPQC with PI controller is initially used to minimize the problems with the power efficiency. An integrated solution called UPQC with ANFIS controller has been used to enhance the performance of the power quality improvement.
