Design and Analysis of NN Controller based EV Charging Station with Enhanced Power Quality

This project involved developing and analyzing an energy-efficient electric vehicle (EV) station, utilizing a neural network controller. The station is capable of standalone operation and utilizes electricity from a photovoltaic array to charge EV batteries, while also offering power connectivity to electrical equipment. Additionally, it facilitates energy reimbursement, enhancing the electricity grid's quality. The EV station fulfills several functions, including current charging, EV battery management, simultaneous charging and settlement, as well as payment processing. It is engineered to function smoothly even during grid conflicts, ensuring grid compliance of less than 5% as per IEEE-519 standards. A neural network-based topology control scheme is implemented to optimize energy efficiency by comparing physical activities. Moreover, synchronous control is integrated to enable grid connectivity whenever feasible.
