Design and Analysis of Different 2-Stage Dynamic Comparators for Low Power Consumption and High Speed

The proposed comparator architecture includes various kinds of comparators like dynamic two-stage Conventional Comparator to compare with different designs like 19T Comparator, 28T Comparator is designed and it's simulation results are analyzed in cadence 180nm Technology. During analysis, the parameters like Power and Delay is observed. The 19 Transistor design has power consumption of 92.80uW which is comparatively smaller than conventional and 28 Transistor design having 154.1uW and 103.8uW respectively. Also less delay is observed in 19T Comparator with 176.2ps compared to other transistor designs like conventional dynamic comparator and 28 Transistor comparator designs. Therefore 19 transistor comparator is most power efficient and having more speed in operation.
