Enhancing Drone Communication Utilizing 4QAM OFDM in OCC Systems

The advantages and potential applications of drones are increasingly sought after, particularly in the field of communication. However, the current information delivery technology used by drones is susceptible to interference, spectrum limitations, and high latency. In contrast, optical camera communication (OCC) as part of optical wireless communication (OWC) is considered a promising technology and can be used as an alternative to address the limitations of RF -based drone communication systems. Nevertheless, the movement of drones can result in decreased performance of OCC systems and cause distortion in communication channels. In this study, deep learning algorithms will be proposed alongside 4-QAM OFDM for drone communication. During testing, the system will be evaluated at a speed of 2 and 3 m/s over various distances, resulting in a detection accuracy of mAP0.5 at 0.995.
