Time-resolved fluorescence microscopy of QDs in investigations of endolysosome acidification

Endolysosomeacidification was assessed by time-resolved fluorescence microscopy (FLIM) using quantum dots targeted by epidermal growth factor (EGF-QDs). It has been shown that the interpretation of the results of changes in the QD fluorescence lifetime using the proton pump inhibitor BafA1 depends on the method of its administration. Also, some additional factors in endolysosomes can affect lifetime of QDs besides pH.
