The Combined Use of Methylene blue and Chlorin E6 Photosensitizers for Photodynamic Therapy and Correction of the Tumor Microenvironement

In this work we report the results of the study of combined use of methylene blue with chlorin E6 photosensitizer for tumor oxygenation control and the tumor microenvironment correction during photodynamic therapy in vitro and in vivo. Targeted destruction of tumor-associated and synergistic effects due to the influence of methylene blue on tumor oxygenation were studied.
