Laser functionalization of carbon nanotubes with LaB6 particles

This work experimentally investigates the effect of functionalization of carbon nanotubes array with LaB
6
nanoparticles on the electrophysical properties. A hybrid nanomaterial was based on a vertical nanotubes array functionalized with LaB
6
nanoparticles. Nanotubes were structured by pulsed laser irradiation (energy density 0.15 J/cm
²
). The functionalized hybrid nanomaterial had a maximum field emission current of 55 μA.
