Growth, Structure, Thermal Properties and Spectroscopy of Tm3+-doped MgMoO4 Laser Crystal

$\mathrm{Tm}^{3+}$-doped MgMoO
4
crystal was grown by Czochralski. Thermal properties of crystal were determined. Spectroscopic studies were shown broad emission band in 1.6 $2.15 \mu \mathrm{m}$ region (the ${ }^{3} \mathrm{~F}_{4} \rightarrow{ }^{3} \mathrm{H}_{6}$ transition) and a long ${ }^{3} \mathrm{~F}_{4}$ excited-state lifetime that makes this crystal promising for lasers.
