Gradient method for piezoresonance laser calorimetry

Gradient method for laser calorimetry was introduced in ISO 11551 standard in 1997 but was excluded later on because of its errors proneness due to the finite thermal conductivity. In the current work we demonstrate that in the case of piezoelectric resonance calorimetry (PRLC) it shows good agreement with the methods included in the actual standard since the temperature is averaged in the method.
