Fiber femtosecond frequency comb for measuring the dispersion of optical elements

The results of the measuring the dispersion parameter D for the SMF-28 fiber using a three-wave single-arm interferometer (SAI) and a femtosecond fiber frequency comb (FFFC) stabilized to a $\mathbf{Y b}^{+}$single-ion optical frequency standard are presented in this work. The second-order group velocity dispersion (GVD) was taken into account for the first time. This approach can be applied to any optical fibers and bulk optical elements, such as crystals, glasses, chirped mirrors, etc.
