Spectral, spatial and temporal characteristics study of laser plasma radiation of sulfur and tungsten targets in the X-ray spectral range

The results of studies of the interaction of nanosecond Nd: glass laser radiation with pure solid $\mathrm{Al}, \mathrm{Cu}, \mathrm{S}, \mathrm{Ta}$ and $\mathbf{W}$ targets are presented. For the first time, such studies of high-temperature plasma were carried out for sulfur and tungsten targets. The studies were carried out at sub-petawatt values of laser radiation power density in the focusing spot on the target. The spectra, as well as the spatial and temporal characteristics of plasma radiation, were studied in the X-ray spectral range. The emission spectra of the plasma demonstrated the presence of intense radiation in the bands of water and carbon windows for targets made of sulfur or tantalum. However, sulfur plasma is preferred as a source of X-ray radiation in a water window, and tantalum plasma - in a carbon window.
