Creating a Printed UWB Antenna for Local Navigation

In this study, attention is focused on modeling and comparing with analogues of a navigation device, in this article we will talk about a printed antenna using the reception of an ultra-wideband radio signal. The main task is to develop a printed antenna with a central frequency of 6.5 GHz, designed for local navigation indoors. This antenna is designed to receive and process signals reflected from various objects and obstacles in the room. The analysis is performed by comparing the radiation patterns of the receiving and transmitting antennas, which process the components of the ultra-wideband radio signal at the input and output of the device. Various high-performance software packages for electromagnetic analysis in three-dimensional space will be used as an analysis and assessment of the operability of antenna devices, which allow us to simulate the creation of an autonomous radio navigation system designed for local navigation indoors. In the course of the research, the possibility of creating such a system is demonstrated, the necessary characteristics are analyzed, as well as the analysis of emerging problems during its development.
