Investigation of an Ultrashort Second-order Cylindrical Vector Beam Focusing by Phase and Amplitude Binary Zone Plates

The focusing process of an ultrashort second-order cylindrical vector beam by zone plates is simulated by applying the frequency-dependent finite-difference time-domain method. We demonstrated that the material of the element significantly influenced on the resulted light field in the focal plane. The presence of a reverse energy flow in the produced by phase, aluminum and chromium zone plates filed is numerically confirmed.
