A Forward Modeling for Ultradeep Azimuthal Resistivity Logging in Planar-stratified Formation

Electromagnetic (EM) modeling in a planar-stratified transverse isotropic (TI) formation is the groundwork for electrical logging. In this paper, we present an innovate frame to analytically calculate EM field triaxial magnetic caused by triaxial magnetic dipoles. The recursive algorithm of EM field in spectral domain is directly based on the continuous conditions without using the reflection and transmission coefficients. Then, a signal coupling algorithm is present to simulate the response of ultradeep azimuthal resistivity logging (UARL) tool in highly deviated well.
