High-precision Atmospheric Aerosol Detection by Miescattering Lidar Combine with Raman Lidar

Atmospheric aerosol is an important component of the atmosphere-Earth system, which plays an important role in the earth’s radiation budget, air quality, cloud and precipitation, and atmospheric chemistry, and has become a hot topic in the field of atmospheric science.Many scholars have proposed different lidar atmospheric remote sensing methods, among which Coliis slope method, Fernald method and Klett method are more common. At present, the Klett method is the most common method to retrieve the miescattering echo signal of lidar. Because the Klett method is based on the assumed lidar ratio to retrieve the extinction coefficient and backscattering coefficient, the error between the inverted aerosol microphysical characteristics and the true value will become larger if the assumed lidar ratio is only used without sufficient prior constraints. In order to obtain the real prior constraints, so as to invert more accurate values, we combine the miescattering lidar and raman lidar, and use the raman lidar to correct the lidar ratio and then use the Klett method to invert the high-precision values.
