Theoretical and Experimental Studies of Eigenmodes of Surface-wave Bragg Resonators

We present the analytical, numerical and experimental results on the eigenfrequencies and quality factors of the surface-wave modes forming near the planar and cylindrical periodical surface-wave metallic structures. The Ka-band measurements were conducted for 3D printed oversized cylindrical resonators and demonstrate the existence of the mode at 37.6 GHz with Q ~ 200.
