Detection and Demodulation Design for Radar and Communication Integrated LFM-MSK Signal on FPGA

Radar communication integration is currently a research hotspot in recent years. The paper, based on FPGA, designs a detection and demodulation module for radar and communication integrated LFM-MSK signal. Firstly, the paper introduces the overall process of the design and the algorithms used. Subsequently, the paper provides a detailed explanation of the optimization strategies in the algorithm and architecture level. By simulation, it is demonstrated that the optimized FPGA circuit effectively enhances the performance and reduces consumption on hardware. Finally, the paper implements the design on FPGA platform, conducts tests in the background of the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN). The experimental results demonstrate the reliability of the optimized design.
