A Low-power Collaborative Control Method for Vehicle-grade Ambient Lighting System

This article proposes a new design of a car standard ambient light control system. The ambient light uses Smart LEDs as the lamp body, and its main control chip is the vehicle-grade chip KF32A151 as the MCU to design the ambient light system. Based on this chip, the development of CAN, LIN, and Bluetooth function control for Smart LED is carried out. On the other hand, in order to reduce the power consumption of the ambient lighting system (ALS), time division multiplexing was applied to each row of 5 rows of Smart LEDs (a total of 143 LEDs) through software, resulting in a power consumption reduction of approximately 22.7% when providing the same voltage and brightness.
