Signal Integrity Analysis of Integrated Circuits Based on DGTD Method

This paper proposes an integrated circuit signal integrity analysis method based on 3D full-wave simulation and validates its applicability through practical cases. The Discontinuous Galerkin Time Domain (DGTD) method is employed to solve the Maxwell’s equations to simulate the time-domain response at the transmission line ports. Then the eye diagram of the transmission line is obtained, allowing the extraction of parameters such as eye width, eye height, and jitter. Above, this study introduces a novel and efficient simulation tool for signal integrity analysis in integrated circuit design, providing assistance in the design and optimization of integrated circuits.
