A Three-dimensional Electromagnetic Scattering Simulation Tool

Electromagnetic scattering analysis plays a pivotal role in radar, communication, and various other fields. This paper presents a highly efficient three-dimensional electromagnetic scattering simulation tool based on the method of moments (MoM). To enhance the computational efficiency of MoM for solving electromagnetic scattering problems, we have implemented the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) to accelerate the matrix-vector multiplication during iterative solving. Furthermore, we have parallelized the tool using MPI/OpenMP technology to further expedite its computational efficiency. Numerical examples verify the accuracy and efficiency of the electromagnetic scattering simulation tool.
