Manipulating Electromagnetic Absorption and Heat Transfer Simultaneously

This study proposes a scheme of periodically filling BN pillars within the absorbing material, which can simultaneously realize the wave-absorbing and thermal conductivity performance through a reasonable radius design. In order to enhance the feasibility of the scheme, we added 0.1 mm BN films to the upper and lower surfaces of the composite structure, which can achieve effective absorbing performance. Additionally, we evaluated the thermal performance of the composite structure under different heat dissipation boundaries, and the results indicate that the composite structure achieves a significant temperature reduction under forced convection conditions, providing a feasible scheme for simultaneously realizing both the function of absorption and thermal conductivity.
