Dynamically Tunable Refractive Index Sensor of MIM-graphene Hybrid Cavity Structure Based on Fano Resonance

To solve the insufficient of traditional metal-insulator-metal (MIM) structure sensors that the transmission peak cannot be tuned dynamically, this paper proposes the design of a new type of MIM-graphene hybrid structure refractive index sensor. The design concept is to paste a graphene nanotube into a rectangular cavity to achieve dynamic tunability. Graphene material is introduced in more detail, and the transmission spectrum of the system is analyzed by MICMT theory. The article not only explains that the Fano resonance of the MIM-graphene hybrid structure originates from the coherent coupling between the magnetic TM10 cavity resonant continuous bright mode and the electrical graphene resonance discrete dark mode, but also explains that changing the L and R will cause the movement of transmission peaks.
