Dynamic Range of a Digital Radio Receiver with a Microwave Photonic Element Base

The paper defines the main parameters of the microwave path and the elements that limit the dynamic range. A comparison was made and the most suitable structure of the photonic ADC was selected. A multichannel method of increasing the dynamic range is selected. The dynamic range was calculated taking into account the noise coefficient of the system and the capabilities of the multi-channel structure, which amounted to 163 dB.
