Application of Petri nets to Ensure Interoperability and Synchronization of its Indicators in Network-Centric Control Systems

The development of network-centric management principles leads to an increase in distribution and parallelism, and, considering heterogeneity, to problems of interoperability and synchronization of systems and components. The choice of Petri nets is due to their wide application for modeling parallel and discrete processes in various control systems. The main tasks of ensuring interoperability are considered, where it is advisable to use Petri nets for modeling. Based on the ISO 25010 quality model for systems and software products, it is shown that the best approach to building an architecture from the point of view of ensuring interoperability is a service-oriented approach. It is proposed to use fuzzy colored Petri nets to model interoperability architecture, interaction of architecture services, requirements assessment, use case diagrams and UML (Unified Modeling Language) notations. A Petri net model has been developed to synchronize indicators of interoperability levels (organizational, semantic, technical) based on the reference interoperability model. Mechanisms for synchronizing indicators of interoperability levels using uniform instructions, semantic mediators and gateways are proposed.
