Abstract:

In the changing environment of the Industrial World of Things (IIoT), there has been a notable change, especially in the merger of cloud computing for the achievement of Industry 4.0. This combination, regularly referred to as Cloud production, signifies a major improvement in production systems. It offers features such as based on the cloud control and immediate process tracking, changing the standard industrial model. However, this development comes with a number of challenges, mainly in the world of threats to security and a boost in end-to-end delay across the production environment. The merging of cloud services reveals risks, including possible central points of breakdown and message route delays as data moves to and from the cloud service provider. To handle these problems, we suggest a new security service design that blends the stability of the technology’s blockchain with the speed of fog computing. This design works on fog nodes carefully positioned at the edge of production equipment groups.
