Design and Implementation of a 2W S-band Power Amplifier for Wireless Networks

This article presents the design and manufacturing process of a 2 W power amplifier operating in the frequency range from 2.1 GHz to 2.5 GHz. To amplify a low power and broadband signal, the proposed power amplifier uses a 2 -stage driver amplifier and an output power amplifier, the driver amplifier uses transistor SGA-9189 with center frequencies of $\mathbf{2. 2}$ GHz and 2.4 GHz, respectively and the output power amplifier uses transistor SHF-0589 operating at a center frequency of 2.3 $\mathbf{G H z}$. The designed amplifier achieves a maximum gain of 24.5 dB in the 2.4 GHz and is greater than 23.1 dB in the 2.1 GHz 2.5 GHz band; Output power reaches 33 dBm; The input reflection coefficient (S
