High Gain Multiport Boost Converter for Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems

In the current situation, facilitating the incorporation of renewable energy is imperative. A single renewable source is not enough to make any system work for more time. This paper focuses on addressing these challenges to adopt hybrid renewable energy sources by proposing a high gain multiport boost converter tailored for hybrid renewable energy sources. The paper details the mathematical modelling of a multiport boost converter, with solar cells and FC stack. The closed loop output voltage of the multiport boost converter is regulated with the decoupler controller for different load variations. The model undergoes simulation to verify its performance and efficiency.
