AI-Integrated CMS for HE System Implementation in Structured Way

The modern, changeable, competitive educational environment of today compels the institutions of higher learning to enhance administrative operations efficiency while meeting employees’ and users’ needs, students’, instructors’, and staff at large, with resource constraints and the availability of new technology. The incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) into the campus management system, therefore, brings an improved, effective approach that assures administrative workflows are well-defined, from which improvement in operational efficiency can be realized, consequently leading to improved institutional effectiveness. This study is thus a review of the implications and benefits an AI-integrated Campus Management System bears for institutions of higher education. AI technologies, such as machine learning, natural language processing, and analytics power these systems. They have a potential capability of automating typical administrative tasks, synthesizing huge volume datasets to inform decision-making, and offering experiences for stakeholders that are fully personalized. This paper will thus be organized in the following way: first, discussion of the current challenges that face higher education management is presented in order to administer; and, second, resource limitations, data complexity, and third, scalability needs. The rest of the paper then discusses how AI promises to transform this whole arena by essentially automating repetitive activities that range from processing applications for admissions to scheduling of courses and delivering to students all the associated support services.
