PSO Based PID Control Approach for Interconnected Load Frequency Control Scheme

Load frequency control, also referred to as LFC, is of utmost importance in maintaining the dependability of the power system. Ensuring a balance between production and consumption is crucial for maintaining the frequency at its optimal level. Using PID controllers makes it possible to regulate at lower frequencies. This control system surpasses other control systems in terms of effectiveness, ease of implementation, and longevity. This research thoroughly examines the LFC and PID control systems. This research specifically focuses on PID controllers that are equipped with LFC. Various PID tuning strategies used to assess the efficiency of load frequency control (LFC). The purpose of this research is to investigate the new developments in PID control and the implications such developments have for Load Frequency Control (LFC). It examines all of the challenges and provides suggestions for further investigation. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that PID control and load frequency adjustments have the potential to improve the efficiency of power systems. The findings constitute a comprehensive evaluation of the inquiry.
