From Concept to Reality: IoT-Based Electric Control Systems in Home Automation

In recent times, the internet has revolutionized the whole technology. It is acting as a backbone for information technology. Subsequently, the Internet of Things (IoT) has seen considerable development as the internet has become more common. With every enhancement in the internet in terms of speed and bandwidth, the IoT is taking the market by a new node and knocking the door with new opportunities for inventions. Similarly, research is being carried out to make IoT applications more user-friendly, especially in web-based and Android technologies. IoT gives extensive control by enabling remote control of the switching of electronic devices. This technology has been increasingly applied to security systems as well. In this research article, we implement a novel IoT-based electric control system for home automation. Overall, the potential of IoT-based home automation and security systems is to enhance the quality of life, improve energy efficiency, and increase security in our homes.
