Image Confidentiality through 1D Chaotic Map Integration and Shift Operation

abstract-To accomplish this work, we employed two methods to ensure robust and secure encryption against attacks and unauthorized access, meeting our security requirements. We utilized the circular shift operation as a confusion tool to modify the position of each pixel. During this phase, we introduced random pixels to inject misleading and disruptive information into the plain image. On the other hand, the chaotic 1D Tent map will serve as our approach to guaranteeing a change in pixel values during the diffusion phase. We will generate two images with the same size as the shuffled image using this chaotic map and subsequently perform XOR to obtain the encrypted image. The results obtained in the experiments justify the performance and effectiveness of our proposed method against several attacks.
