Design and Analysis of Polyhouse using FEA Tools

In this paper, we have designed a polyhouse for G. H. Raisoni University Saikheda, which is located in the village DHODA BORGAON in Chhindwara district, Madhya Pradesh, India. Polyhouses, also known as greenhouses, play a crucial role in modern agriculture by providing a controlled environment for optimal plant growth. The study focuses on employing FEA tools to assess the structural integrity, performance, and behavior of the polyhouse under various loading conditions. The design process involves the selection of suitable materials, dimensions, and structural configurations to ensure durability, cost-effectiveness and efficiency. We have calculated dead load, Live load and wind pressure using appendix in IS 875: Part 3. Firstly we have decided the size of polyhouse i.e., 288 sq.m. and we have prepared the layout for polyhouse. After that Polyhouse was modelled using SOLIDWORKS. Then we have done stress as well as deformation analysis of the structure for two different materials, one is commonly used SSSC Steel 400 and another one is composite Plastic.
