A Low Cross Regulation Single-Inductor Multi-Output DCDC Converter

A single-inductor multiple-output (SIMO) DC-DC converter with low Cross-Regulation is presented in this paper. This converter combines improved charge control mode control and average current mode control to ensure minimal interference between each output. At the same time, a transient suppression module is added to the final output, reducing the accumulated error caused by the control mode in the final output. The circuit is designed based on the SMIC180nmBCD process and taped out in progress. The design exhibits superior Cross-Regulation performance, that the worst Cross-Regulation is only 0.043mV/mA when the output current of 1A abruptly changes.
