Towards the Study of Dual-Frequency Dipole-Like Antennas and Band-Pass Re-Entrant Filters with Notch Bands

This paper presents some results carried out at radio-receiving and radio-transmitting devices department of Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU), beginning since 2017 and related to the analysis, parametric optimization and some features when designing the dual-frequency dipole-like antennas. Such antennas are intended for use both in radio-receiving telecommunications equipment and as part of the transmitting equipment of cellular base stations. Since cellular base station antennas operate at significant levels of radiated power, it is necessary to consider issues of electrical strength of the emitters, including assessing the density of distribution of electrical charges along the antenna conductors. For the same reason, research is needed into the construction of new compact band-pass filters for increased levels of operating power in order to ensure the suppression of unwanted out-of-band radio-transition. The devices proposed in this work make it possible to implement the novel compact aerials and re-entrant filters with additional degrees of freedom.
