High-Energy Mechanochemical Synthesis of a Solid Solution Pb2MgWO6 – Pb3Fe2WO9 with the Introduction of an Alloying Additive Li2CO3

The work is focused on the synthesis of a solid solution in the system (1-X) $\mathrm{Pb}_{2} \mathbf{M g W O}_{6}+\left(\mathrm{X}_{2}\right) \mathrm{Pb}_{3} \mathrm{Fe}_{2} \mathbf{W O}_{9}$, where $\mathrm{X}=0.2; 0.4; 0.6; 0.8; 1$; doped with Li
2
CO
3
using high-energy mechanochemical activation and annealing in the temperature range of $600-900{ }^{\circ} \mathrm{C}$. The addition of iron was made in order to investigate the effect on the structural properties of the crystal lattice and the formation of the solid solution. Mechanochemical activation is a promising technique for preparing materials for producing piezoceramic composites. During the activation process, mixing, grinding, defect formation, and the creation of new active surfaces in the powdered materials take place. This allows for the possibility of obtaining the desired compound during the activation process, thus reducing the time required for synthesis and the temperature needed for subsequent annealing.Compressed samples were examined before and after heat treatment using X-ray phase analysis and scanning electron microscopy. The main findings are presented in this paper. Ceramics with a cubic structure and space group Fm3m or Pm3m were obtained and had a density that was $95 \%$ of the theoretical value. The research is of a fundamental nature and aims to study and obtain materials with predetermined properties for future use in various fields of engineering and technology. Specifically, for the production of vibration sensors, which will have a wide range of applications in the electrical power industry, microelectronics, and electrical engineering.
