Scalar Control Algorithm for the Cycloconverter as Part of the Power Supply System for Autonomous Objects

The article presents a method for controlling a cycloconverter, which a part of the aircraft’s power supply system, based on a scalar control algorithm. A block diagram of a cycloconverter with an automatic control system is proposed. It is determined that according to the output terminals, the cycloconverter is a dependent current source, the value of which is determined by the transfer characteristic. A block diagram of the cycloconverter current control circuit is proposed. The gain factor of the open loop on the clock is determined when the value of the control signal changes. The dependence of the open loop gain on the modulation depth under the sinusoidal control law and the arcosinusoidal control law is presented. A block diagram of the voltage stabilization circuit is proposed. The parameters of the regulators have been determined. The relative error of regulating the voltage circuit is close to the same value of the current circuit.
