Development of Algorithms for Searching the Optimal Capacity and Composition of Generating Equipment of Hybrid Autonomous Power Supply Systems Based on Renewable Energy Sources

The issues of application of hybrid autonomous power supply systems based on renewable energy sources are of great relevance in connection with the tightening of environmental requirements, as well as with the desire to reduce the consumption of diesel fuel. The paper presents a generalized model for calculating the theoretical potential of a power plant, as well as an algorithms for selecting a site for the installation of small hydroelectric power plant, calculating the mode of operation of hydroelectric units during the year, as well as algorithms for selecting a hydro turbine and wind turbine. Calculation of the theoretical potential of various systems makes it possible to calculate the required amount of equipment in order to use the energy resource as efficiently as possible and determine what share of it can be realized as electrical energy. The algorithm in its turn allows to automatically select the optimal variant from the possible ones, significantly reducing the calculation time.
