Predicting the Workload of the Repair Department in a Company Producing Electronic Modules

During the production of electronic modules tests of the correctness of individual production stages are carried out at many points of the production line. Modules that do not meet the test requirements are sent for repair. Depending on the number of modules produced, their complexity and production volume, the burden on the repair department changes. To ensure ongoing repairs of the damaged modules, it is necessary to ensure appropriate repair teams. This paper proposes an algorithm for predicting the number of modules that will require repairs in particular weeks. The correct operation of this algorithm was verified on the example of the real data from a company producing such modules. The obtained research results were commented on.
