Sub-terahertz Near-field Dielectric Sensor in CMOS Technology

In this article, we present a label-free near-field sensor designed for sensing and spectroscopy within an aqueous environment operating in the sub-terahertz frequency range. Fabricated using standard silicon complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) technology, the sensor addresses a pressing need in modern science and technology for compact, cost-effective, end-user-friendly devices.
