A Printer Security Protection Method Based on Trusted Computing

This article analyzes the security issues of network printers within the State Grid system. A printer security protection method based on trusted computing technology has been proposed. This method integrates trusted security chips as trusted roots into PC motherboards, printer motherboards, and consumables motherboards, and utilizes identity authentication, security metrics, and password services of trusted computing technology to achieve security authentication and data encryption and decryption between printers, PCs, and consumables devices.
