Research on 1553B Communication Faults Resolution Methods

This paper introduces a method to solve the faults of the 1553B communication protocol. The 1553B is a serial communication protocol, which is widely used in aviation, spaceflight, military and other fields. This paper first introduces the basic principles and characteristics of the 1553B communication protocol, describes the types of faults and methods to solve the faults, and proposes a method to add a power-on reset in the software to solve the 1553B communication faults caused by PCI bus reset time earlier than FPGA logic software loading time. Finally, this paper analyzes and locates the faults through the fault tree diagnosis method. The validity and feasibility of adding power-on reset in software to solve 1553B communication faults, which is verified through experiments and provides a new idea and method for solving the 1553B communication faults.
