Magnetotherapy Modeling using a Simplified and Anatomical Human Body Models

The paper is on the use of a boundary integral approach to modeling magnetotherapy treatment procedure. We considered two homogeneous human body models, the simplified model based on the cylindrical geometry and the anatomical model based on average adult person. The problem is formulated using the surface integral equation expressed via unknown surface charges, or the so-called
$\rho$
-formulation. The numerical results for the induced electric current density are obtained using the method of moments approach. The comparison is carried out using the results from the cylindrical and anatomical human body models, respectively, taking into account various parameters such as different conductivity values of the human body, the position and also geometry of the stimulation coil.
